Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 9, 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help a website remember who you are between requests. This policy explains which cookies AltGen uses and why.

2. Essential cookies

These are required for the service to work and cannot be disabled. They keep you signed in, protect your session, and remember your active workspace. Without these, you would not be able to log in.

3. Functional cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies and local storage entries to remember preferences such as your theme (light or dark) and recently used generation settings. These make the product easier to use but are not strictly required.

4. Third-party cookies

When you complete a purchase, Stripe's checkout may set its own cookies to process the payment securely. We do not control these cookies directly — see Stripe's privacy policy for details. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to AltGen.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the product evolves. We will post changes here and update the "Last updated" date above.
